Sandra Tweed Gaskins graduated from SC Baptist Hospital School of X-Ray, and worked for about 2 years at Lexington County Hospital.  She met William (Buster) Gaskins, a USC pharmacist student, while in X-ray school and they were married in 1971. In 1973 they moved to Hartsville, SC where sandy graduated from Coker College in Early Childood and Elementary Education.  Sandy taught 4th grade for 5 years, 8th grade Earth Science for 15 years, and retired after teaching 5 yr. old kindergarten for 6 years. After retiring from teaching, Sandy went back to school and became a realtor® where she worked for Coldwell Banker for 6 years. This past October, just before the bottom fell out of the housing market, she bought a RE/MAX franchise (RE/MAX Results Realty) and became a Broker. Sandy’s comment – “When I grow up I will decide what I want to do.”
 
Sandy and Buster had two wonderful children.  Jody would be 36, but died 2007.  Kevin (32) is owner of KC Residential Properties in Florence, SC. They have four precious grandchildren.  Allison (16) is our favorite granddaughter; Jordan (8), Nathan (5) and Eli (4 months) are our favorite grandsons. We have a daughter-in-law, Jane, that is loved like a daughter we never had.
 
Our hobbies are working in the yard, going on cruises, reading, dancing the SC state dance (shagging) and following USC sports.
