Robbie has been married for 37 years and has three children and three grandchildren. His oldest son, Brian (35), lives in Orlando and programs video games. Jason (33) lives in Greenville and is a systems engineer. His only daughter, Amanda (23) lives in Los Angeles and is pursuing acting.

Robbie went to college in Charleston and graduate school in Texas. He has lived and served as a Music Minister in Bamberg, West Columbia, Georgetown and presently in Taylors for the last 16 years. Robbie enjoys golfing, backpacking, softball and fishing in his free time.
