Cathy Phillips Green went to work for Southern Bell in 1969. She and her 1st husband were married in 1972, had one daughter, Bridgette, in 1974.

Cathy married Mike Green in 1986 and they moved to Stone Mountain, Georgia. In 1989 her second daughter, Allison, was born.

Cathy and Mike settled in Johns Creek, Georgia. Mike passed away in April, 2008. Cathy retired from BellSouth in 2001 and now works part-time for the City of Alpharetta Public Safety Department. Her oldest daughter and husband have twins, Jack and Emma; and her youngest daughter is majoring in Education at North Georgia College and State University.
