After school Lin (Linda) McKenney traveled around trying to find herself. She was a VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) "community organizer" in the early 70’s. She has lived in Colorado and New Mexico. As she began to grow up she realized she needed a real job, so she continued her education and became a Psychiatric Nurse which she did for 18 years … taught her a lot about other's pain and suffering! For 12 years she lived in Charleston, Folly Beach and Summerville areas but came home to care for her Mom, Pop and Sister until their deaths. She quit nursing and has been blessed to have her own business as a Therapeutic Massage Therapist. She has operated "Connecting Touch Massage Therapy” for 10 years.
