Douglas Glover worked for Co-Lite Sign Company for 18 months after graduation. He was married in February 1970 and joined the Air Force in November 1970. Douglas retired from the military after 24 years of service. He served in combat in Vietnam, Grenada, Kuwait, Desert Storm and Dessert Shield.

He has two children, Kevin (38) who is employed with Boeing Aircraft Company in Washington State, and Alisha (34), a graduate of Howard University who is an Officer of the Court in Washington, DC.

Douglas is divorced and enjoys traveling in his RV with his companion. He has been employed with Intercity Transit for 14 years and will retire in 5 more years.

After retirement he plans to travel and fish … he is on a hunt to catch a Steelhead salmon. His fishing motto is “A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.”
