David Erwin and Beverly Peagler Erwin have been married for 38 years and have lived for the past 29 years in Old Hickory, Tennessee. They have two daughters who live in the Nashville area - Dava Smith (Jason) who is 38 and Ashley Fly (Keith) who is 34.  They have four grandchildren:  Jacob Smith (7), Kyndle Fly (4), Carson Fly (2) and Sarah Smith (1), and currently share their home with a Dalmatian and a chocolate Lab.  

David continues to pursue his musical career and has an in-home studio. He currently is producing and recording a group with S.C. connections and recently released an instrumental CD called “50 Hymns for Guitar” on Madacy Records based in Canada; he self-produced and released a CD called “Dangerous” under the name Samuel David. David has recorded and played guitar for various artists and is an award winning songwriter whose songs have been recorded by artist such Marie Osmond, Charly McClain, Brook Benton and the Four Tops. His Christmas song, “I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Christmas” is included in a songbook called The Definitive Christmas Collection containing the top Christmas carols and standards of all time. His musical travels have taken him to every state in the lower 48, Japan, Germany, Austria, England, Switzerland and Holland. David enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, whom all love to play the keyboard and drums when they come to visit. David and Beverly travel to SC at least once a year to visit with family. David enjoys snow skiing, and during the winter months, you’ll find him on the rocky mountainside of the country.
