Memorials

When a friend dies who is a part of our class, we lose not only the friend but a part of ourselves, for that friend brought out in us what only they could. By ourselves we are not large enough to call forth the whole of our person. We need each other to show all our facets.  Now that these friends are gone we shall never see our reaction to their humor or their thoughtful deeds.  Far from having more of ourselves, we have less of ourselves. With deepest love we remember those whose absence leaves us less complete. written by Skip Cartin
